With the recent incident coming to light, officials have said that police in both uniform and plain clothes will soon be deployed in metro coaches.

The DMRC also said that it plans to use CCTV cameras installed inside metro coaches more frequently to identify objectionable behavior or catch people making videos that may cause inconvenience to other commuters.

Decision taken due to obscene antics

Officials said, “We aim to improve security and surveillance by implementing several measures. This includes patrolling inside trains.

We request passengers to behave responsibly while traveling by MetroIf other passengers notice any objectionable behaviour, they should immediately report the matter to DMRC helpline giving details of corridor, station and timings etc.”
