US China Tension: China furious over Antony Blinken's talk on Taiwan, said – America is giving dangerous signal

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi that it is extremely important to maintain peace and stability in the Gulf of Taiwan. Enraged by this, China has accused America of giving very wrong and dangerous signals about Taiwan.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi that it is extremely important to maintain peace and stability in the Gulf of Taiwan. Enraged by this, China has accused the US of giving very wrong and dangerous signals about Taiwan. On the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, the two leaders held talks for about 90 minutes on Friday.

No change in One China policy

A senior US official said, “On our behalf, the Secretary of State made it clear that there has been no change in our long-standing One China policy. But what is really important is peace and stability in the Taiwan Gulf.’ On this, the Foreign Ministry of China said that the US is giving very wrong, dangerous signals on Taiwan.

America has no right to interfere

Above all, Taiwan’s independent activity will likely reduce the chances of peace. The Taiwan issue is China’s internal matter and the US has no right to interfere. Let us tell you that in August last, Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan and since then tensions have peaked.

Warned not to help Russia

It is noteworthy that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, warned against helping Russia in any way in the ongoing fight against Ukraine. Giving information about the talks, the officials said that the two leaders stressed the need to keep the avenues of communication open and take the US-China relations forward responsibly.
