Russia&Ukraine War: Putin imposes martial law in four regions of Ukraine

Russia-Ukraine War Putin said he is working hard for Russia’s security. Putin said this before a meeting of the National Security Council. After this the Upper House of the Russian Parliament approved the decision to implement Martial Law.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has imposed martial law in four regions of Ukraine included in Russia. Putin’s order will take effect from Thursday. Russia has included them this month by holding referendums in Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson. Under the new decision, emergency powers have been given to the administrative heads appointed in these four areas.

Putin said, hard work is being done to ensure Russia’s security and secure future. Those who are fighting on the frontlines of war and who are undergoing exercise to go there, they should feel that their great country and its people have stood behind in support.

Putin said this before a meeting of the National Security Council. In this meeting itself, it was agreed to implement martial law in the four won areas. After this, the Upper House of the Russian Parliament approved the decision to implement Martial Law.

Russian army under tension over Ukraine attacks

According to Reuters, the Supreme Commander of Russian forces in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin, has admitted that the latest attacks by the Ukrainian army are increasing tensions, which has increased the difficulties. The Ukrainian army is carrying out attacks to gain control of the southern and eastern parts of the country.

These parts have been captured by the Russian army and incorporated them into Russia. Fearing a fierce battle, the Russian army is displacing people from four cities in the Kherson region. Ten thousand people are being sent to Russia every day.

General Surovikin said in a conversation with Russia’s state news channel Russia 24, the situation in Kherson is difficult. Here the Ukrainian army is carrying out attacks on infrastructure and residential areas. He has told that the Ukrainian army is also continuously attacking Kupiyansk and Leman in eastern Ukraine. Both these cities have been under Russian occupation for a long time.

Russian army retreated 30 km in Kherson

The Russian army has been pushed back 20-30 kilometers in the last few weeks in the Kherson region. The Ukrainian army is preparing for a major attack there. The Russian army fears that it may have to leave the area on the western bank of the Dnipro River.

A team of experts can come to Ukraine and see this reality. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Russia is fighting a war in Ukraine by relying on Iranian drones.

This is Russia’s military and political defeat. Zelensky says Russian forces have destroyed nearly a third of Ukraine’s power stations in about ten days of attacks. Due to this, Ukrainian citizens may have to face severe hardship in the coming cold weather.
