PAK: Imran Khan refutes rumours of leaving Long March, explains the reason


The long march, dubbed as Haqiqi Azadi March, began on Friday. On his second day on Saturday, Khan failed to reach his designated destination at Kamoke, where Khan was supposed to address his supporters

The Long March, dubbed as the Haqiqi Azadi March began on Friday. On the second day of the March Imran Khan failed to reach his scheduled destination at Kamoke, where he was supposed to address his supporters. Rumours of leaving the march spread after his return to Lahore when the Long March reached Kala Shah Kaku. 

Reporter dies, Imran cancels long march 

The journalist died after being crushed by a container on Sunday. Due to this, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan canceled his long march on Sunday.

Shocked & deeply saddened by the terrible accident that led to the death of Channel 5 reporter Sadaf Naeem during our March today. I have no words to express my sorrow. My prayers & condolences go to the family at this tragic time. We have cancelled our March for today.

Imran Khan tweeted, “Shocked by the death of Channel 5 reporter Sadaf Naeem during our long march today. Deeply saddened by his death. I have no words to express my sorrow. Imran further added that his prayers and condolences are with the reporter family in this time of sorrow and he have cancel the long march for one day. 

According to the report of a leading Pakistani newspaper, the long march was canceled after the local TV channel reporter Sadaf Nai’s convoy was crushed under a container by PTI chairman Imran Khan. A video has also been shared from Imran Khan. In which Sadaf can be seen taking part in the long march.

Imran tweeted, “This is the revolution I was talking about. As we progress on the third day of our Haqiqi Azadi March, people are joining our march in large numbers.
