The Ministry of External Affairs said on Friday that there has been a sharp increase in incidents related to hate crimes, racial violence and anti-India activities in Canada, so Indian citizens and students living there are advised to be alert and attentive. .

The advisory said, the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian High Commission have taken up this issue with the Government of Canada and have sought action against the recent incidents that have happened there, but those responsible for these incidents are still to be blamed. No action has been taken nor has he been caught.

“In view of the increasing cases of such crimes, Indian citizens, students and those going for travel/education in Canada are advised to remain alert and vigilant,” the ministry said.
