Indonesia handed over the command of G20 to India, meetings will be held in many cities of the country in 2023


The 17th G20 Summit was held in Bali, Indonesia. Its command has been handed over to India at the 17th G20 summit in Bali. India will preside over the G20 summit for one year from December 1.

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I want to assure that India’s G-20 Presidency will be inclusive, ambitious, decisive and action-oriented. It will be our endeavor to make the G-20 will act as a global prime mover to visualize new ideas and accelerate collective action.

PM Modi often talks about women empowerment, taking them along, taking them forward and giving them opportunities. In the G20 summit also PM Modi put forward this issue and said, “Global development is not possible without the participation of women we must prioritize women-led development in our G-20 agenda.”
