Brazil: Supporters of Bolsonaro threaten to protest again, security increased in capital Brasilia

Jair Bolsonaro Supporter Attack On Sunday, thousands of protesters ransacked the Congress building as well as the presidential palace and the Supreme Court. After this, once again the supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro have started protesting.

The recent violence in Brazil by supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro caught the attention of the whole world. After the protests on Sunday, once again supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro have started fresh demonstrations on the streets of Brazil.

The government of leftist President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has strengthened security measures across the country. Supporters of Bolsonaro were seen calling for protesters to ‘take back power’. 

Security measures have been stepped up outside the Planalto Palace, the National Congress and the Supreme Federal Court in Brasilia amid rumors of new protests by Bolsonaro supporters. 

People took to the street to protest against the violence in Brazil

Let us tell you that thousands of Brazilians took to the streets on Monday to protest against the violence on the second day of vandalism in Brazil’s Parliament, Supreme Court and Rashtrapati Bhavan. The streets echoed with slogans of ‘no apology, no apology, no apology to the rioters’. Meanwhile, Brazilian authorities have said they are investigating who may have been behind the sudden disturbance, which sparked an incident similar to the US Capitol violence. So far 1500 rioters involved in the incident have been arrested.
