IND vs AUS T20: Big blow to Australia ahead of India tour, three players out due to injury

IND vs AUS T20 Before the tour of India, the Australia team has suffered a major setback. Actually three of his players have been out of this tour due to injuries. David Warner was rested even before this tour.

Ahead of the India tour, the Australia team has suffered a major setback. Before the T20 World Cup, the team has to come to India to play a series of 3 T20 matches, which is going to start from 20 September. Australia’s explosive batsman David Warner had already withdrawn from this tour, but now 3 more players have been out of this tour due to injury. The three players whose names are being revealed include fast bowler Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis. Nathan Ellis, Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott have been included as their replacements.

Although the injuries to all three players are minor, the decision has been taken by Australia Cricket in view of traveling to three different cities in India over six days and in view of the upcoming T20 World Cup. Australia will start their T20 World Cup campaign against New Zealand at the SCG on 22 October.

Marsh and Stoinis’ injuries came to the fore during Australia’s North Queensland ODI series against Zimbabwe and New Zealand, while Starc was ruled out of the tour following his knee scan in Sydney today.

In the absence of Marcus Stoinis, Tim David can get a chance to debut as a finisher, while the absence of Marsh can change the team’s batting order. Steve Smith can bat at number 3. However, Cameron Green can also get a chance on this number. Josh can open the English innings with Aaron Finch in Warner’s absence.

Talking about the bowling rankings, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also been rewarded for bowling brilliantly in the Asia Cup. Bhuvneshwar has now jumped 4 places to 7th position. Pakistan bowler Haris Rauf has jumped 9 places to be at 25th position while Mohammad Nawaz has moved up to 34th position
