Asia Cup 2022: Shoaib Akhtar said, Rohit Sharma is not looking comfortable, seen shouting on the field

After the Super Four defeat to Pakistan in the Asia Cup, India also suffered a defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka. Hope rested on the match between Afghanistan and Pakistan, but India’s journey ended due to the result coming in favor of Pakistan team.

Indian cricket team is out of Asia Cup. Two consecutive defeats in the Super Four shattered his dream of defending the title. After the Super Four defeat to Pakistan, India also had to face defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka. The team’s hope rested on the match between Afghanistan and Pakistan, but India’s journey ended due to the result coming in favor of the Pakistan team.

The Indian team had to face defeat in the Asia Cup due to excessive use. Captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid did many such experiments in the playing XI, which are being criticized by many veterans. Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has even described India’s defeat as an eye-opening warning ahead of the World Cup. He believes that captain Rohit Sharma needs improvement.

Akhtar said, “Rohit Sharma looks very uncomfortable, he is seen shouting on the field. The Indian team named Ashwin in the playing XI and dropped Ravi Bishnoi. These things show that there is an atmosphere of uncertainty within the camp. Is. This is the right time to open the eyes of the Indian team before the start of the World Cup.”

“I don’t think the Indian team played so poorly. They didn’t play well that’s true but every time you fall you have a chance to come back better. I think in the Asia Cup As the team got disappointed, it will surely benefit them in the upcoming World Cup, India should not feel so defeated, they should learn from this one thing. They have to find their right playing XI. Rohit Sharma will also have to sharpen his captaincy.
